Junior Procurement Officer

We are now recruiting a junior procurement officer for our procurement function. With us, you will have the opportunity to work in a dynamic organization with an important mission that affects all citizens in our society.

Responsibilities

As a junior procurement officer, you will support the organization with contract management, various procurement-related tasks, and procurement administration such as record-keeping, supplier controls, and the release of public documents. Additionally, you will independently lead and carry out certain direct procurements and calls from framework agreements.

You will play a central role in our implementation of routines and processes as well as management and administration related to e-commerce. You are also expected to contribute to the development of our routines and processes and information and training within the procurement and contract management area.

You will work closely with your colleagues in the procurement function and will have a lot of contact with other parts of the organization. The tasks are varied, making the work diverse and exciting.

You will report to the unit manager for finance and HR, who is part of one of the authority's management groups.

Qualifications

We are looking for someone with relevant academic education or completed YH/KY training in procurement or another procurement-related field. You may be relatively new in the role of procurement officer, but you are engaged and interested in learning and developing. You have a very good ability to express yourself verbally and in writing in both Swedish and English.

It is an advantage if you have previous experience working with procurement in a Swedish authority, if you have good knowledge of the Public Procurement Act, and if you have previous experience working with e-commerce.

The Position

The employment is a permanent full-time position. IMY applies a 6-month probationary period. You will work in our pleasant activity-based premises centrally located in Stockholm.
